Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This policy covers the Random Deck Studio publishing tool (the "tool"), a private program that the owner of the Random Deck Studio YouTube channel runs on their own computer to publish videos to that channel.
YouTube API Services
The tool uses the YouTube API Services. By using the tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Who uses the tool
Only the channel owner, on their own channel. The tool is not offered to other users and has no sign-up.
Data the tool accesses
- Google authorization tokens for the owner's account, granted on Google's consent screen
with the
youtube.uploadandyoutubescopes. - Data about the videos the tool uploads: their ID, URL, title, description, upload and processing status, and scheduled publishing time.
The tool does not access, collect or store data about other channels, viewers, comments, subscribers or analytics, and does not use cookies or tracking.
How the data is used
Only to upload the owner's videos, Shorts, thumbnails and subtitles, to set their titles and descriptions, to schedule them and to confirm that each upload finished. The data is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
Storage and sharing
- Authorization tokens are stored only on the owner's computer, outside any server, and are never sent to anyone other than Google.
- The URL of each published video, which is already public on YouTube, is kept in the owner's project notes.
- No data is sold, shared with third parties or transferred elsewhere.
Retention and deletion
Video status data obtained from the API is used at upload time and is not kept beyond 30 days. Tokens are kept until the owner revokes access. You can revoke the tool's access at any time from Google security settings; the tool then deletes its stored tokens the next time it runs. To ask for any stored data to be deleted, write to the contact address below.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new date.
