Random Deck Studio
One commander. One rule. 100 cards.
Random Deck Studio is a YouTube channel about Commander decks for a trading card game, built under a constraint chosen for each video (a price limit per card, a theme, a creature type…). Each video walks through the deck card by card, with card images and a narrated voice-over.
The publishing tool
This page describes the small private tool the channel owner uses to publish those videos. It runs only on the owner's own computer and is used only by the owner, on the owner's own channel. It is not offered to other users.
Through the YouTube API Services, and after the owner authorizes it with Google, the tool:
- uploads each finished video and its Shorts to the owner's channel;
- sets their title, description, tags, chapters, thumbnail and subtitles, in Spanish and English;
- schedules when each video becomes public;
- posts one comment on each of its own videos with the plain decklist, ready to copy into a deck app;
- sets the channel's banner, watermark, description and keywords;
- reads the status of the videos it uploaded, to confirm the upload finished.
It does not read, collect or store data about other channels or viewers.
Permissions
youtube.upload: upload videos to the owner's channel.youtube: set thumbnails, subtitles and localized titles and descriptions, schedule the videos the tool uploaded, and set the channel's branding.youtube.force-ssl: post the decklist comment on the owner's own videos. The tool does not read or manage any other comments.

Random Deck Studio es un canal de YouTube sobre mazos de Commander de un juego de cartas coleccionables, construidos con una condición distinta en cada vídeo (precio máximo por carta, temática, tipo de criatura…). Cada vídeo repasa el mazo carta a carta, con imágenes de las cartas y una voz narrada.
La herramienta de publicación
Esta página describe la pequeña herramienta privada con la que el titular del canal publica esos vídeos. Funciona solo en su propio ordenador y solo se usa sobre su propio canal. No se ofrece a otros usuarios.
A través de los servicios de la API de YouTube, y después de que el titular la autorice con Google, la herramienta:
- sube cada vídeo terminado y sus Shorts al canal del titular;
- pone su título, descripción, etiquetas, capítulos, miniatura y subtítulos, en español y en inglés;
- programa cuándo se hace público cada vídeo;
- publica en cada uno de sus vídeos un comentario con la lista del mazo, lista para copiar en una app de mazos;
- pone el banner, la marca de agua, la descripción y las palabras clave del canal;
- consulta el estado de los vídeos que ha subido, para confirmar que la subida ha terminado.
No lee, recoge ni guarda datos de otros canales ni de los espectadores.
